
she is a co-founder of The 51st, a D.C.-based worker-led news outlet. she spent several years covering D.C. as a general assignment reporter for DCist.com (rip) and WAMU 88.5. her journalism has appeared in The Washington Post, NPR, The 51st, and Hell Gate. her fiction has appeared in Angel Food Mag, Hobart Pulp, and Bloodletter Magazine. she writes a newsletter sometimes about eggs.
she is currently getting an MFA in fiction writing from Columbia University, where she is a Felipe De Alba fellow and a Henfield Prize nominee.
